Visit Kantaji Temple


The Kantaji Temple is the most famous tourist place in Bangladesh, stayed at 15 KM north from Dinajpur District and founded in 17th century.
It is a beautiful template made up by nice art of terracotta flowers and Avatar of Hinduism. This is the most magnificent example of terracotta architecture of Bangladesh. The template is located within a court and covers an area of fifty two square feet. On the ground and first floors of the temple, visitors will notice square cell in all the corner. Narrow staircases connect the various floors and the temple also has a prayer hall on the ground floor, and a sanctuary at the top of the structure. A nice river is also here besides the temple.
.Here is many hotels with plenty of local foods just outside the temple. You can eat delicious foods at a very cheap rate.

If you visit Dinajpur, you can also visit SapnaPuri, RamSagar and RajBari.
What remains of the Kantaji Temple is worth the visit and a recommended sight when traveling through the diverse and fascinating country of Bangladesh.
